Gooseberries and Roses→

What hidden uses do roses have? In Greece, common folk knowledge claims that the “rose is the doctor” to the grape. For centuries people have planted roses in vineyards to strengthen grapes against certain diseases. While little understood, today this knowledge is still being passed on. In many vineyards in Italy you may see tall rosebushes at the end of each row of grapes.
